What is it?
Well, it’s the most efficient lawn watering system available today. This rubber hose with thousands of tiny pores is laid out on a grid underground, 2 to 4 feet apart, (depending on the soil conditions). Acting as a water saturated membrane, it allows the soil to absorb the water. This rubber hose has the capability of nearly one hundred percent moisture penetration.Water is delivered exactly where it is needed and used: the root zone. Evaporation is almost non-existent. The moisture content in the root zone is easily kept stable, without any run-off and no loss of water. (Pipe shown above ground for illustration only)
There is no interference or blocking of the vital oxygen supply in the root zone. The uppermost layer of soil at the surface is dry. The lower layers are moist, but even in the root zone the soil is not over saturated with moisture. Water is made available up and down the length of the porous pipe so that it may travel freely through the soil.
